Longhands, as the name suggests, is an international award show that identifies, recognises, and promotes the best in long copy advertising. With a coveted panel of jury including the likes of Neil French, its aim is to resurrect long-from writing.
Given that we’re used to writing for an audience with an attention span of a dragonfly, revisiting the art form and writing an ad for New Zealand Tourism was fun, challenging, and thoroughly rewarding. I was shortlisted for it in the year 2016. Hope you enjoy it.
