Thousands of parts come together to form an automobile. Given that these components come from all corners of the world, the automotive supply chain not just becomes a complex affair, but also one that questions sustainability.
With organisations across the world scrambling to paint their supply chain ledger green, Maersk wanted to jump on the band wagon as well and promote their big carbon neutral ambitions. But that needed to be done smartly.
My idea for the campaign? Draw a parallel between the sustainability of the automobiles and their supply chain for the OEMs, and promote a thought-leadership white paper that address the automotive sustainability in detail.
